Bio
I have six kids. All athletes....they keep me on my toes! A couple of dogs which are loves. I have been in ballet or gymnastics nearly my whole life. I went to a D-1 college for gymnastics and I have a BS in Sports Management. I enjoy putting together routines, it is a special gift I think. My parents were very musical and so were my sisters and I. Being in Ballet and music really helps with putting together routines.

Coaching Approach
I believe firmly in basics. Things done correctly because it makes gymnastics easier. Better to learn a skill correctly the first time around rather than having to learn it and unlearn it. I used to be a director for the gym owned by Ed Datti who currently coaches at UNH as one of the head coaches. He knows his stuff and has taught me to respect basics... a fabulous mentor to have. I am patient, and I know what it feels like to do skills. I am a stickler for details, and so are judges. I know what they are looking for. I can spot weaknesses in routines because of my ballet and gym training.

Success Stories
My 'success' stories are more related to the fact that I had great coaches. James Dusenbury at Lincoln-Sudbury high school was my first coach. I owe him a world of thanks. In part I do this because of him. In HS I was MVP a few times, and co captain of my team a couple of times. I was an all around gymnast and placed in states often for different events. Balance beam was my favorite, and one year I came in first place in the state of Mass on that event. In college I was a walk on. I was a little fish in a big pond. Most of the girls on the team were on scholarship, some had been heading toward the olympics. This was where I learned the most, and I eventually became a balance beam specialist for them.... I have been in Easterns and nationals, and as a team one year we placed fourth in the nation for college. I had great coaching and choreography teachers in college. I was Co-Captain both my junior and senior years. I went on to coach for GAB in Norwood Mass, and then onto work with Ed Datti at Montvale gymnastics in Woburn Mass, then back to LS to coach high school, then onto work for Leslie McGonagle of Reading Gymnastics. In terms of 'success' I am most successful when I see kids I used to coach, go on to have their own families and to coaching other young gymnasts. Yes I like the kids I coach to do their best. I have had many successful kids in competitions, and go onto college.

I will do floor and balance beam clean-ups.... for any and all levels of gymnastics. ..as well as choreography for both of those events. I was a D-1 college balance beam specialist, and I love the event. I love all the events but that is my favorite.
